Launch6 Platform Tour

Below is a list of instructions we’ve put together to help you get more acquainted with the Launch6 Dashboard, How-To create a Popup, How to earn points and more!  Everything is listed on the left-hand tabs for your convenience.  As we continue to add more products and information, we will make sure to update this section too.

LAUNCH6 DASHBOARD

Welcome to the Launch6 Dashboard!  This is the first place you will land every time you log into Launch6.  Here you can see a snapshot of what’s most important, like your POPUP CONVERSIONS you have had, and how many LAUNCH6 POINTS you have earned.

All navigation throughout the platform can be found on the left-hand side, and you can reach our Astronaut Support Team at any time by clicking the little question mark bubble at the bottom right of the screen.

Below you will find your customized Launch6 Sharing URL to use to earn more Launch6 Points

CREATE YOUR FIRST POPUP

To create your first popup click on the “POPUPS” section found on the left navigation, and then click “Create New Popup.”

create-new-popup1

Once here, you have a variety of popup types to choose from at the top of the page along with editing options.  In the example below, your popup is broken into 3 sections:  1)  CREATE | 2)  SETTINGS | 3)  GET LAUNCH CODE.

Below is what the interface looks like on Step 1)  CREATE.  Once you design your popup, you can click on the different popup thumbnail pictures to see how your popup will look on different layouts. You can also Preview your popup, Save it, or Upgrade to our Plus or Pro plan.  If you choose to upgrade, your popup design options completely open up to allow for complete customization.  To see what this interface looks like, simply click on one of the images with “PREMIUM” on top.

create

If you scroll down, you can Save your popup, choose from 2 different background colors, a variety of font options and a place to upload your logo.  You can adjust your HEADLINE, CALL TO ACTION text and choose to integrate with Mailchimp.

1

If you choose the Mailchimp integration (Plus and Pro users only) and need help finding your Mailchimp API Code, please review our Installation Guide Here.  If you don’t have a Mailchimp account or are using a different mail provider, simply leave this box unchecked and all of your collected leads will be stored in the STATISTICS section where you can export as a CSV.

Next, you can adjust the text shown on the email placeholder and the submit button text.  You can also enable Zapier to have all your collected leads automatically transfer to hundreds of email providers.  For more help on connecting to Zapier, CLICK HERE.

You will also notice that you can redirect your user after they submit.  This is useful if your Call To Action is driving them to a Checkout Page, or if you want to create a coupon code URL that auto-populates on checkout.  Next, you can edit the “Close Link” text, which is what your customer will need to click in order to close the popup.  For design, you can choose to have a popup outline or not.

Lastly you will see Tracking Pixel section where you can paste in tracking code that you want added to the popup you are creating.  For example, you can add your Google Analytics code here or add a Facebook Tracking Pixel.  Next, we move onto the THANK YOU section.

The THANK YOU popup is what your customer will see after they have taken action.  This is a great opportunity for you to show your appreciation by adding a coupon code offer or even have your customer share your message.

You will see below that you can select “Enable Viral Sharing” which allows you to create a custom message that your customer can share on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Tumblr or via Email.

Once your popup is created, you need to determine how you want it to display, what type of animation it should have, how ofter it should appear, which page of your website it should launch on and if you want it to appear on a mobile phone or not.  You will also see a checkbox that says, “TEST POPUP.”  You would check this box if you want to test your popup on a website not affiliated with the URL you have added.  This function is used if you want to have your web developer design the popup for you and test it on their server.

POPUP SETTINGS

At Launch6, we have a variety of ways to display your popup and grab the attention of your customer.  Below is a list of all of the different things your popup can do.

EXIT

When you choose “Exit” from the drop down menu (shown below), you are creating an imaginary horizontal line at the top of your web browser.  When someone is about to exit your website, your popup will appear with a “last ditch effort” to take action.

Below is an example of what the invisible line will look like.  When someone moves their mouse above this line, your popup will get triggered.

TIME

When you choose “Time” you are telling your popup to appear after a specific amount of seconds.

After you select “Time” in the Show options dropdown, a entry field will appear below, where you can enter the amount of seconds to wait before the popup will appear.

EXIT OR TIME

This selection is a mixture of “Exit” and “Time.”

When you select this function the popup will appear if someone is about to exit your website and/or after a specific period of time.

SCROLL

Let’s say you want your popup to appear after someone scrolls halfway down your website.  When you choose the “Scroll” function, you can do just that.

After you choose “Scroll” a placeholder will appear where you can enter the percentage down your website you want your popup to appear.

EMBED – IN LINE

The “Embed” function allows you to place your popup anywhere on your webpage.

After you choose “Embed” from the Show options drop down, you would choose “In Line,” copy the Launch6 Code, and paste the code anywhere you want the popup to show up.  Whether it be a “Contact” page or a “Blog Side Bar” this popup will be more of a permanent feature on your website.

EMBED – LINK

The “Link” function allows you to place a Text Link anywhere on your webpage. Your popup will appear after your customer clicks the link.

After you choose the “Link” function in the Animations drop down, a box will appear where you will create the text you would want a customer to click.  After the link is clicked, the popup you created  will appear.  Think of using this function to create links that say, “CLICK ME” or “CLICK FOR MORE INFORMATION.”  Additionally you will have the option to chose the text link color so it can stand out.

After you have created your popup and “Link,” click the blue preview button under your popup to see the link and test the popup (see below).

EMBED – BUTTON

The “Button” function allows you to create a button and place it anywhere on your webpage.  After the button is clicked, the popup you created will appear.

After you choose the “Button” function in the Animations drop down, a box will appear where you will create the text you would want your button to say.  Additionally you will have the option to chose the button and text color so it can stand out.  After the button is clicked, your created popup will show up.

After you have created your popup and “Button,” click the blue preview button under your popup to see the link and test the popup (see below).

SLIDER

You would used this function to have your popup slide into view and stick to the edge of the screen.

After you choose “Slider” you would pick the direction you want your popup to slide in from.

Below is an example of a popup that has had “Slide Right” chosen.

PRE-BUILT POPUPS

To make things easy for you, we have created a number or Pre-Built Popups for you to get inspiration from, or for you to get started using Launch6 tools right away.  To get started, click on the “POPUPS” section found on the left navigation, and then click “Pre-Built Popups.”

Your statistics are broken down into 4 categories.  The first one is the total number of visitors have seen your popup.  The second number is how many times your popup was displayed.  The third number is the total times your information was shared via the Thank You page (see THANK YOU information found within the “Create Your Fires Popup” section).  To view which specific social network your information was shared on, simply click TOTAL SOCIAL SHARE to display all networks.

In the example below, 1 visitor saw the same popup 2 times and signed-up (1 Conversion).
